How does waking up and not hearing the voices of men particularly feel like?

Weirdly funny? Or next to impossible? Not for a woman in China, named Ms. Chen.

As reported by The Daily Mail, Chen felt nauseated and experienced ringing in her ears a night before this incident. Next morning after waking up, she was not able to hear her boyfriend’s voice.

At the hospital, she got ear, nose, and throat examined by specialist Dr. Lin Xiaoqing.

Xiaoqing reportedly said, “She was able to hear me when I spoke to her, but when a young male patient walked in, she couldn’t hear him at all.”

Chen was diagnosed with “low-frequency hearing loss.” It is a rare condition that leads to cuts off deeper, lower-frequency sounds.

Although the actual cause is still unknown, the condition is believed have caused due to stress. Chen is expected to experience a full recovery as mentioned by the specialist.

This news is leaving many in wonder-state as to what Chen is feeling to literally not listening to men or to naturally mute the system to annoying co-workers and politicians.
