Video shows 1000lb Moose walking on water in Alaska

A large moose crosses an Alaskan river by ‘walking on water’ and the moment captured by Kristy Paniptchuk is truly amazing.

She filmed the moose while going upriver on her jet boat.

The moose crosses the small vessel’s bow, running to the other side through the shallow water.

Ms Paniptchuk state that the video is not a fake. She filmed the moose while it was crossing the river to get upstream and the very moment, she was on her jet boat.

In the footage, the moose appeared to walk on water as the river is only five inches deep and it crossed in front of the bow of Ms Paniptchuck’s boat.

The footage got various comments on social media; one user said: ‘That moose learned to control her chakra.’

Another stated that it is ‘Jesus Moose.’

To navigate shallow streams and rivers Alaskan jet boats are ideal for it.

The flat-bottomed boats are meant for sheltered lakes and shallow rivers but are mostly dangerous on open water.

A lot of social media users doubted if the video was real, while others suggested that there was a ‘glitch in the matrix’.

Some also claimed that the large moose should be named Mooses (after Moses who parted the Red Sea).
