Pope Francis announced that he would be joining Instagram delighted the Catholic world.
Later it appeared that his account liked something that didn’t meet the “holy” quote.
Natalia Garibotto, an Instagram model, noticed that the Pope’s account (@franciscus) liked one of her photo where she wore a very short outfit of a schoolgirl.
As the news spread rapidly across social media, it was seen that ‘the like’ disappeared all of a sudden from the post on Instagram.
No one knows whether who did it, but it did grab eyeballs across the globe.
Natalia Garibotto mentions that the Pope hasn’t sent any DMs but after the viral news, she posted on Twitter, which said: “At least I’m going to heaven.”
Later She said to Barstool Sports that, “My mum may hate my ass pics but the Pope be double-tapping.”
Previously, the Pope also showed a pretty progressive thought process compared to his predecessors when he publicly supports the LGBT community.
In a documentary Francesco, the 83-year-old told “Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable over it.”
“What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered,” he adds
Reverend James Martin – a prominent Jesuit who has long advocated for the church spoke to the Washington Post.
Martin told “I think it’s a big step forward. In the past, even civil unions were frowned upon in many quarters of the church. He is putting his weight behind legal recognition of same-sex civil unions.”
