Model accused of breaking law by clicking topless photos in Dubai

An Instagram model has recently been slammed in social media for sharing her topless pictures in the Dubai desert. She has posted the pictures with her hands covering her breast, and claims her actions to be nothing wrong.

The model named Luana Sandien have posted snaps six days ago and the provoking pictures have made people furious, accusing her of breaking laws of the country and disrespecting the dress code.

Leaving little to the imagination the Brazilian model was photographed wearing lose fitting, split-legged white trousers, a black and white headscarf and sunglasses.

While talking to Daily Star she expressed her intentions saying she didn’t wanted to embarrass anyone but to her contrary she has faced some major backlash.

Luana said: “It was one of the best pictures I’ve ever taken, but I didn’t mean to embarrass anyone.

“I was careful to cover my breasts with my hands, knowing that in the country it is forbidden to be naked, and even so I was threatened by haters.”

As she post her picture on Instagram, she added a Portuguese caption which translates to: “The beauty of the desert is that it hides a water well anywhere… (Antoine de saint).”

A quick respond came from a viewer who asked: “How come your ass ain’t arrested[?]” she responded by saying: “they let me do whatever I wanted (I have my charms).”

Another commented: “Every country has its own law which if you don’t follow you will be in trouble… many country [sic] do not allow this, if u don’t like it don’t go there.”

As per the situation the Foreign Office stated,

“UAE laws and customs are very different to those in the UK. Be aware of your actions to ensure that they don’t offend, especially during the holy month of Ramadan or if you intend to visit religious areas.”

“Women should dress modestly when in public areas like shopping malls. Clothes should cover the tops of the arms and legs, and underwear should not be visible. Swimming attire should be worn only on beaches or at swimming pools.”
