Cop charged with George Floyd’s Murder Released from Prison

The Police Officer from Minneapolis that was charged with the murder of George Floyd; an innocent man that fell victim to racial profiling.

Derek Chauvin, aged 44, was arrested after riots broke out demanding justice for what had happened to George Floyd.

Derek Chauvin was released from the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Oak Park on Wednesday after he posted his bail by using a $1 million non-cash bond signed by A-Affordable Bail Bonds, Inc.

Chauvin had shown no mercy to the innocent man and killed him in cold blood by pressing down on his neck using his knee. The entire thing was caught on camera by a bystander which proceeded to spark protests around the world.

Black people had not felt safe in America for a long time, and racial profiling had been an issue ever since the old days. Intolerant individuals have taken it into their own hands to make others’ lives hell based on their gender, class, religion, and even their skin color.

Along with Chauvin, three other officers were fired due to the incident. Chauvin was charged with second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Thomas Lane J. Kueng and Tou Thao were charged with aiding and abetting.

All four men have now posted their bails, and are now to face their due trial in March.
