A clip shared on Twitter by user Lone Gamer shows her mum kicking off her second playthrough of Bayek’s not-unsubstantial journey.
Her mother sinks 200 hours into the game and even earned the platinum trophy.
But as much as anyone loves Assassin’s Creed Origins but still won’t make it close to the 63-year-old gamer who investing dozens of hours into the open-world epic.
The Lone Gamer mentions that her mum (unnamed) hasn’t played any console game, the last one was Mario on the NES.
My 63yr old mum is playing Assassin’s Creed Origins again. This will be her 2nd playthrough. She clocked in 200+hrs the 1st time & got a platinum trophy.— Lone Gamer (@LoneGamer88) October 18, 2020
Not bad for someone who hasn’t played a console game since Mario on the NES.#ACSisterhood #AssassinsCreed #ACOrigins pic.twitter.com/atZKowy96i
She also adds that it’s not clear yet about what led his mother to play Assassin’s Creed Origins or whether she has directed his mother to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey or is it the upcoming Valhalla, which might have really got her vibing with Ancient Egypt? The possibilities are many.
In any case, Lone Gamer is grateful for all the support and love her mum received so far.
“Thank you for supporting her,”
“This is definitely what gaming is about. It’s for everyone! No matter age, race or gender. Truly Gamers United!” she posted
